A rectangular sign that is taller than it is wide.
 
The sign is split into two distinct sections, each of which contain subsections. At the top of the first section is a large white mandatory exclamation mark (!) inside a solid blue circle. There is blue text immediately beneath it which reads "Fire Action".
 
Next are three numbered points. They are:
 
Operate nearest fire alarm (with a red and white fire call point symbol).
Leave building by the nearest exit (with a green and white emergency exit symbol).
Proceed to the nearest assembly point at (with a green and white fire assembly point symbol):
 
Beneath the third point is some space to add details of the nearest assembly point.
 
The second section has a rectangle which runs down the left side. It contains a red prohibition symbol - a circle with a diagonal line running through it. There are three rectangles on the right. Each box contains white text on a red background. They read "DO NOT use lifts", "DO NOT stop to collect personal belongings" and "DO NOT re-enter until told it is safe to do so".
 
The text is bold, clear and easy to read.

This interior sign is suitable for use in interior applications. Appropriate for mounting on a smooth or flat surface such as a wall.
 
Fire Action signs contain instructions for the actions to be taken in case of fire. Pictorial signs use symbols or pictures to aid understanding.
